Names on belts can be done several ways.  Below "Capt. Dick" and "MEGAN" are the "natural impressions".  Below that is the "natural impression" plus dying the letters black to make a nice contrast with the two tone effect, like the belt "MELLISSA". The third way is to "antique" the letters.  A dark brown paste fills in the grooves to bring out the outline of the letters and gives a very nice contrast to the belt.  (VILLENEUVE)

   Any design can be done in black.  The images will be impressed directly on an  already drum/vat dyed belt, so the impression will not have the natural color outline. The image shows up very nicely, but will not have a bold look.  The "drum dyed belts" come in Black, Med. Brown, Dark Brown.
